About Faculty

The Faculty of Pharmacy is a leading educational and research institution dedicated to training skilled pharmacists and advancing pharmaceutical sciences.

This faculty offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers drug discovery, formulation, clinical pharmacy, and pharmaceutical care. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through laboratory work, research projects, and internships in hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.

The faculty emphasizes ethical practice, patient-centered care, and innovation in drug development. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers as pharmacists, clinical researchers, quality control specialists, and experts in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing to public health and the well-being of society.

In Dawat University

Bachelor of Pharmacy program started its scientific activities for the first time in 2011.

This faculty is intended for the male class, which has completed 16 graduation rounds so far (790 students).

The dean of this faculty is under the responsibility of Dr. Noorullah Mandizai and its teaching management is under the responsibility of Mr. Nabiullah Ibrahimi.

Mission

  1. Developing the level of pharmacy knowledge through teaching, research, practical work and internship.
  2. Development and improvement of pharmacy matters and playing a leadership role in the production of medicine and other pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical administration and management, pharmaceutical laws and policies, treatment care, pharmaceutical services for inpatients, pharmacy care, pharmaceutical services for the community and playing an effective role in the field of health services.
  3. Presenting qualified pharmacists (with knowledge, skills, behavior and professional abilities) to perform pharmaceutical services and solve problems caused by drugs in the country.
  4. Development of people’s health through the provision of standard medicinal services and the regulation of pharmaceutical matters.

Vision

The vision of the Faculty of Pharmacy is to improve the quality of education according to standard demand, standard teaching, providing research fields related to pharmacy affairs, developing scientific research needed by the country and region and active participation in pharmacy services.

Educational Goals

  1. Active participation in the supply, production, distribution and control of spices and food based on modern, scientific and technical methods.
  2. Advancing the technical and professional affairs of government pharmacies, hospitals and urban pharmacies.
  3. Active participation in the field of procurement and supply of pharmaceutical services, pharmacy care, information system and drug legislation.
  4. Advancement of clinical pharmacy affairs and evaluation of drug treatment in hospitals.
  5. Implementation and interpretation of biological examinations, active participation in the fight against infectious diseases and microbial resistance.
  6. Quality analysis and analysis of food products and cosmetics in food and cosmetic analysis laboratories.
  7. Study and research about medicinal plants, use and search for better ways to supply and exploit the country’s plant flora.
  8. Active role in epidemiological study and research and pharmacy related matters.
  9. Ability in the research, recognition, treatment and prevention of toxic substances, analysis and analysis of toxicological samples in forensic medicine, industrial products, toldide spices, food and cosmetics.
