General Information
The field of international relations is one of the new fields in the field of social sciences, while fields such as political science, philosophy, and sociology have a very long tradition. The field of international relations was formed after the First World War in 1919 in Wales, Britain, and the main reason for the formation of this field was the effects after the First World War. The series of wars and the basic challenges of the First World War and the high rate of civilian casualties caused questions among thinkers and thinkers of relations between governments, and as a result, an independent field of social sciences was created, the basic study of which is war and peace.
The main focus of the field of international relations is on the study of the causes of war and peace, which has changed a lot in the last 100 years. At first, this field was very limited and lacked theorizing, but factors such as the evolution of the international system, the events of relations between governments, the formation of activists, actors, organizations, and institutions made the field of international relations evolve and become wider.
Today, a problem called globalization has had a great impact on this field and has created many fields of theorizing within this field, which has also become an interdisciplinary field. Departments such as international political economy, international law, international organizations and institutions and their study, theories of international relations, regional studies and security studies are related to this field.
This program is intended for male and female students who have completed 6 graduation periods (340 students).
